So, I had an unforgettable birthday (it was the 16th) for many reasons. The snow has been ridiculous here considering PORTLAND DOESNT GET SNOW! We decided to make a quick trip to the grocery store before we went out to dinner. I guess everyone else had the same idea. We were fast, efficient, and so proud of ourselves for getting out of the packed grocery store in record speed. Now all we had to do was rush home before the babysitter got there. Ya. Rush. It took us ONE and ONE HALF HOURS to go 3 miles to our house. 3 miles! So, we almost ran out of gas and we had to call off my birthday dinner. Let's just say I am not enjoying the snow as much as I described a couple posts ago :) Okay, I'm done complaining. For now.

What a handsome young man- happy birthday buddy! Ethan sure misses being able to hang out with you- he and I love checking on your blog and seeing your growing family.
