We're floored . . .

In our new house we have hardwood floors.

Oh how we love them.

There are so many possibilities.

A free ride from Big Brother.

Baby thoroughly enjoys it.

And, there is this . . . .

He did it . . .

5 years of school

+

a year and a half of studying for and taking 4 excruciating CPA exams

= One very happy Certified Public Accountant

Yesterday, we got the letter that he had passed his final exam.

After dinner we went over to the Blackfoot Reservoir

to just soak in a beautiful night and an amazing accomplishment.

You could tell that

had a lot taken off his shoulders.

We are so proud of our Davin and all he has accomplished.

Congratulations Daddy!

Things We Love Lately

I love new haircuts.

My hair was so long before this (in case you haven't seen me in awhile)! This is sooooo much faster to dry :)

I love double chins while sleeping.

I love that Big Brother likes to look out for Baby.

When the vacuum starts he has to make sure Baby has a big pillow in front to hide him too.

Christopher loves that we have a Bob the Builder right outside our house!!

(up goes our fence!)

Andrew loves that he gets to play with Brother and his toys.

I love pumpkins and gourds.

I could seriously write a whole blog post on how beautiful and wonderful they are.
Don't worry, no such post is in the works.

We love red potatoes.

Yummy.

We love sunsets.

The boys love Singing Big Mouth Billy Bass (remember those?).

Mom and Dad - not so much love.

Surprise!

Saturday, the 19th, was my Grandpa Catmull's 90th Birthday.
90th!
I can't believe it!

We had a surprise birthday party for him at Catmull's Furniture Store

and lots of my wonderful family came.

It was a day we will all cherish.

We love you Grandpa.

Wall-e says . . . . .

Things have changed.

It's strange to look out our window and see this

instead of trees.

It's strange to be outside and not see a single cloud.

Only blue sky as far as you can see.

It's strange not to feel any moss (or giant slugs for that matter) beneath our feet.

However, Christopher says : "Wall-e likes it here."

So, I think we are gonna like it too :)

Alright, I admit it . . . .

As a mom, I wonder sometimes - What would a day be like without the kids! Just one day to myself.

Living away from family makes it hard to ever make that a reality.

Well, this weekend I have (sort of ) been able to get a taste of it. Christopher went camping with Grandma and Grandpa and some aunts and uncles.

I haven't been away from this boy for more than a day since he was born and it is killing me. Not hearing that little voice, seeing those big eyes, and holding that little hand makes this mom (dare I say it) a little lonely for that crazy kid.

I think the saying is true that when you have a child it's like your heart is forever walking outside of your body.

I am grateful for my kids.
That wish to be left in peace will probably never go away (ha ha) , but the knowing that I can't live without my kids will not.

Good ol' Idaho

Well, we made it.

We made it to Blackfoot Idaho.

So far, what we know about Blackfoot is
that there is a Potato Museum

and that we aren't sure where we fit with all the cowboys,

cows,

and biiiiig trucks.

We will find our place though and we are liking this new adventure.

Stay tuned.
