It's the most wonderful time . . . . .

What a month!!!

We are exhausted!  We found Matty passed out on the floor a lot. :)

I cannot believe how fast this month has gone and how much we have done . . . . . . .

I turned the big 30!

Davin surprised me with a new camera!
I loooove it!!

I entered a calendar contest for the local paper.

They put one of my pictures of Andy in the newspaper

and I won first place in the calendar contest!

Matty's picture is on the front and I won $100 (still waiting on the money . . . hmmm).  They also put one of my Yellowstone pictures inside the calendar.

I've never won anything so we were super excited!

Christopher had a Christmas program at school.
They did so well and it was so fun to see all those sweet 1st graders singing so beautifully.

We celebrated Christopher's 7th birthday.
He got to go play at a friends birthday party that day with all his friends from school.
Later that night we went with Grandma and Grandpa Catmull, Rob, Jen, and cousin Ryker to Pizza Pie Cafe.  This is his all time favorite restaurant and he was in heaven.  There was even a Santa Claus there handing out little toys.
He made and decorated his own cake this year and he was so proud.
He was so excited to go to Great Grandma's house to open all his presents and he was pretty sure it was the best day EVER!

We bought Davin's parent's car (love this car) and sold our old Camry.
We loved that car and it was a little sad to see it go :(
We had had that car since Davin and I started dating!!

Matty went with me to the DMV and it was cooooold!
Good thing he had his cute hat :)

Andy ate a christmas cookie from a neighbor and had an allergic reaction.  We think it was the anise in them.
Luckily there are not many things containing anise!

We had a marvelous Christmas!
On Christmas Eve we travelled on the terrible terrible roads to Grandma's house and barely made it up the icy hill to her house.
What an adventure.

We had a long, cautious drive home that night.
The kids decorated cookies for Santa and Davin and I drank egg nog and watched "It's A Wonderful Life".  Love watching that movie with him every year.

Santa came and the boys could hardly contain themselves waiting to see what he brought.

We had an angry bird themed Christmas this year.  I found a whole set of angry birds for each boy and they also got the new Angry Bird Star Wars toys.
They are in heaven playing together.

We spent Christmas day in Idaho Falls with family and as Christopher says
"My favorite part about Christmas is being with allllll my family.  Together and cozy."

 Agreed.

Meeeooowww . . . .

My son makes me laugh really hard at least once a day.

Today he was at therapy and he had an accident.
Very typical for an Asperger's kid so they always have extra clothes lying around.
When I came to pick him up I could see him a mile away.
His occupational therapist was yelling at me "I had nothing to do with this!!!  This was his choice!  Not mine!!"

Oh man, I bet they had a great laugh at therapy today.
I know I did!!

You probably can't tell from the picture, but these are very girly, tapered leopard leggings :)

The whole way home he was saying:
"I look like a leopard!"
"Leopards are very cool."
"I am going to be a leopard for next Halloween!"
"I am going to wear leopard all weekend long!"
"Can you get me some leopard pants for school!"

He is wearing them right now and I am still laughing.

Lately . . . . .

What have we been up to you ask?

A lot.

Davin got a new job and we will soon be moving to Idaho Falls.
So happy for my Davin, but dreading the move for us and especially for my Christopher.

These two are so in love.
At least Andy is.
They watch shows together, (holding hands of course).

Andy dresses him up and comes up with all sorts of things to play together.

He is very creative considering all the baby can do is lie there.

We had a fun Halloween.

We made pumpkin shaped pizzas.

We painted and carved pumpkins in our underwear and the boys went trick or treating with Daddy.

I have been taking pictures for friends.

I used my brother's camera (Thanks Rob) and have decided that I need this camera.
We got some beautiful shots.
I love this picture of my friend's little girl and her Curly Shirley :)

This baby is the love of all of our lives right now.
He is sweet, cuddly, smiley, and just plain adorable.
He just started eating rice cereal and loves it.

He is definitely NOT a bottle boy.  He also hates pacifiers.
So different than my other boys.

What have you been up to lately?

Did you vote?

It's time!  The poll is closed.  The contest is over
The most votes went to Scooby Doo, Shaggy, and a monster.
Unfortunately, the least votes went to Spiders and a fly.
Meet my scary spiders

and my scrumptious fly.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!

Love notes . . . . .

Chris has been having fun writing notes.
I love finding them around the house.
Some are so great I just have to share.

This one I found on the door to his room.

"No girls allowed.  Only girl friends."

(And, let me tell you, he has A LOT of girlfriends.  I'm serious.)

This one I found in his backpack ready to take to his teacher.

"I am in your heart.  You're in my heart. Name Chris."

I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff, but no doubt his teacher will love it.

Things We Love Lately . . . . .

I love that fall is in the air.
My favorite time of year.
We have started to get a bounty of food from our local farm.

I looooove having all of this fresh food in our fridge.
Makes dinner so much easier.

I am loving these two.

I have a feeling they will be good buddies.

I love that my grandparents get to see my kids every other week.

I love that they will have memories of their great grandparents.

I love this kid.

He is talking and smiling and . . . . . losing his beautiful hair :(  Ha ha

I love this picture of Matty and his cousin Iva.

These two are so adorable.
This might be my favorite picture at the moment.

What are you loving lately?
