Love notes . . . . .

Chris has been having fun writing notes.

I love finding them around the house.

Some are so great I just have to share.

 

This one I found on the door to his room.

 

 

 

"No girls allowed.  Only girl friends."

(And, let me tell you, he has A LOT of girlfriends.  I'm serious.)

 

 

 

 

This one I found in his backpack ready to take to his teacher.

 

 

 

"I am in your heart.  You're in my heart. Name Chris."

 

I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff, but no doubt his teacher will love it.



Things We Love Lately . . . . .

I love that fall is in the air. 

My favorite time of year. 

We have started to get a bounty of food from our local farm. 

 

 

I looooove having all of this fresh food in our fridge. 

Makes dinner so much easier.

 

 

I am loving these two.

 

 

I have a feeling they will be good buddies.

 

 

 

I love that my grandparents get to see my kids every other week.

 

 

 

I love that they will have memories of their great grandparents.

 

 

 

I love this kid. 

 

 

He is talking and smiling and . . . . . losing his beautiful hair :(  Ha ha

What are you loving lately?

The first day . . . . . .

Andy had his first day of preschool today. 

 

 

 

He was pretty nervous.

When we got to the school he said "No, I will go to school later."

He did fine though and had fun.

Probably didn't speak a word, but had fun :)

His teacher is a recent widow with 5 children.  Amazing, amazing woman and friend.  We feel so lucky to go to her preschool. 

I think he will have a fun year!! 

Can't believe how much he has grown.

Blessings . . . . .

This last Sunday was Matthew's blessing day at our church.

 

 

 

 

The day was beautiful and perfect and his daddy gave a beautiful blessing.

Grandma Eva made his amazing blessing outfit. 

 

 

 

 

She is so incredibly talented and I treasure each of the boy's outfits she has made. 

He looked so so handsome.

 

 

I was so thankful to have a lot of my family there. 

 

 

 

 

Oh, how I love them all!! 

 

 

What a special day.
