I just had to share how lucky I am to live in a place that has one of the most beautiful fall seasons I have ever seen. These are just pictures from our little road and don't do Portland justice. But, as you can see, the trees are spectacular! I will always love my Idaho Falls, but actually having a fall to enjoy and relish in has not been a bad thing :)

BIG Embarrassment
Okay, so I have always said "I will never put a belly picture up on my blog. Never!" In fact, I just told Davin that a couple days ago. So, Dav, when you read this please don't tell me I'm a hypocrite. I realized (after numerous requests) that now that we live hundreds of miles away from family and friends it may be necessary. So, with humiliation, I present . . . . . my belly:
Notice the child in the left hand corner. He can't stay out of any picture unless I am trying to take a picture of HIM! One good thing out of this is that I finally learned how to use the self timer on my little camera! Yippee!! Well, I hope you are all happy!!! I just feel . . . . big.

Good Times
We had a great weekend! My mother in law, sister in law, and nephew came to visit us in Portland! We went to the beach, went downtown, went to the beautiful Portland temple, and just had a great time hanging out! Having two three year olds around was a riot! So much fun. We already miss you guys! Love you!

Boredom and Spray Paint
This post is dedicated to FURBY! Since apparently you think my life is worth blogging about (ha ha ha ha!!!!! Really?). Well, here is another exciting installment of WHAT DOES KRISTIN DO WHEN SHE GETS BORED! So, all my next door neighbors have, by their front window, a cute little table with a plant or vase or some fun holiday object (and you know how much I love those). And I thought, Ya! I need a table too! Gotta keep up with the Joneses right? And so, Christopher and I headed to the only place where we can actually afford a piece of furniture - GoodWill! We found this little, beat up, ugly, goldish brown table and snatched it up. You honestly can't beat $4.00 right? Then, we grabbed some spray paint and headed home. On the way home we got pulled over. Ya. He was making sure I didn't steal my car. Ya. Maybe that thrilling story should wait for another post. Anyways, we got it home, gave it a good spray, and VOILA - a new table! (don't mind the pantless child in the photo) I've decided saving ugly furniture could become a new obsession. Well, there you go Furby! Boredom and spray paint. It's a good thing.

Quirky
My wonderful cousin, Josilyn, has tagged me to reveal my QuIrKs. . . . . .

1. I am obsessed OBSESSED with holidays! Any chance to celebrate is a good day for me. Saint Patrick's Day, Easter, Halloween, CHRISTMAS!!!! Don't get me started! If I had money, I would be one of the crazy old ladies with too many yard decorations and a house so full of decorations
you couldn't budge. Luckily, my husband helps keep my craziness under control.

2. I have a phobia. Not spiders, not elevators, not small confined places (well maybe all of those a little), but DRIVING! I hate freeways, busy streets, not knowing where I am going, one way streets, getting pulled over, CAR ACCIDENTS! I start to sweat. I'm a good driver just not a driver who WANTS to be driving :)

3. My name is Kristin Garlick and I am a vacuum-holic. I would vacuum my carpet 10 times a day if I could. I love the lines on the carpet and I have a very hard time stepping on them after I have made them. Luckily, my son is afraid of the vacuum and that keeps my addiction to a minimum of once a day. . . . . or two times.

4. I am terrified of stuffed things. Stuffed deer heads almost send me into a panic. A trip to Cabella's is a nightmare. This is starting to sound like Kristin's biggest fears not quirks! Sorry.
5. I looooove the smell of permanent markers and gasoline (not necessarily together :)) Someone out there PLEASE tell me you like this too. PLEASE!
Now the fun part! I TAG
1. Jessica Kuhn. Yes, Jessica Kuhn. Make a blog so I can stalk you!
2. Kimberly Theriault. Cause I know all those little students don't take up ALL your time :)
3. Shayla Dickson. I think you already did this but I am tagging you anyways cause I just like you.

The Secret is REVEALED
HERE IT IS . . . . . . . . . THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!! (okay, so maybe like 3 of you)
We are having ANOTHER little . . . . BOY! We are very excited to have another little monkey running around the house! Sorry about the picture! It is a picture of a picture because my scanner is not working! Anyways, we are so happy about this little guy and the ultrasound was great. We cannot wait to meet him in January!
