This post is dedicated to FURBY! Since apparently you think my life is worth blogging about (ha ha ha ha!!!!! Really?). Well, here is another exciting installment of WHAT DOES KRISTIN DO WHEN SHE GETS BORED! So, all my next door neighbors have, by their front window, a cute little table with a plant or vase or some fun holiday object (and you know how much I love those). And I thought, Ya! I need a table too! Gotta keep up with the Joneses right? And so, Christopher and I headed to the only place where we can actually afford a piece of furniture - GoodWill! We found this little, beat up, ugly, goldish brown table and snatched it up. You honestly can't beat $4.00 right? Then, we grabbed some spray paint and headed home. On the way home we got pulled over. Ya. He was making sure I didn't steal my car. Ya. Maybe that thrilling story should wait for another post. Anyways, we got it home, gave it a good spray, and VOILA - a new table! (don't mind the pantless child in the photo) I've decided saving ugly furniture could become a new obsession. Well, there you go Furby! Boredom and spray paint. It's a good thing.

Wow! Just for me! It's wonderful - I love it! Maybe you can spray paint furniture for me too!!!
And I DEFINITELY have to hear the "being pulled over" story!
wow it has been a LOOOONG time since I read your blog! If you'd make it not private it would pop up and tell me to check it! Alas, here I am, your slacker friend. :) Looks like you're having fun! I miss you!
Good job! I love doing stuff like that. There are all sorts of stores around my place that have refurbished and consignment furniture. I think they have such character.
How's the waether there? If it's colder there than here maybe I won't be so jealous that you're there and I'm here!:0)j/k Cute little table- way to be craftly and frugal.
I love the little table. I bought a couple little chairs from Goodwill a little while ago that I need to do that to.
If you ever get bored and want to do something call me up. I would love to have something to do other than just play with Emerson all day.
Hey I loved it, it turned out great. I would say that you got your money's worth. Great job!
