Christmas Miracles

What a fun weekend! And, what a weekend for crazy situations. I have 2 Christmas miracles to report :

1. Saturday was our first company Christmas party. I was very excited to go to a fancy shmancy dinner party and to have a night out with my Davin (that does NOT happen very often). I had a beautiful (as beautiful as a pregnancy tent can be) red dress that I was really looking forward to wearing. I was rushing around to get everything ready before the babysitter got here and I grabbed my dress to iron it. Well, let's just say my dress is not cotton and let's just say I forgot to change the setting on my iron. Can you say DISASTER! Hole . . . . in my dress . . . . tried to sew . . . . . not good at sewing. So, I ended up putting tape behind it to keep it shut. It still looked absolutely horrible. Now, comes the miracle . . . my shawl just BARELY covered it. Barely! And, the party was very dark. Hallelujah! So, we went to the party, had a wonderful meal, and left before the crazy, shoeless, (shall I say) a little tipsy employees started dancing to Play That Funky Music White Boy. It was a lot of fun!

2. Our second miracle! I thought moving to Portland I would never see snow again, especially during the holiday season. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to have a SNOW storm!!! It was so much fun! Christopher played all day in the snow and had a fabulous time.

P.S. I'm not labeling this one a miracle, but Jason and Kel might see it that way! Ha ha! Congratulations on your graduation. Love you guys! Wish we could have been there!

Horrible story about the dress. I'm glad your sweater covered it up. You looked super cute! Congrats to Jason and Kelly, I wish I was them right now.

1. Your dress is beautiful!
2. You are beautiful!
3. I'm sorry, but it's kind of funny (in a terribly tragic way) that you burned a hole in your beautiful dress - I would have done that! I'm so happy you managed to cover up the hole!
4. Yay for snow!
5. Congratulations to Jason and Kelly! That's awesome!
