Can you believe it!

Yay! My 100th post! I can't believe it! Congrats to me!

Now,

"No matter how calmly you try to referee, parenting will eventually produce bizarre behavior, and I'm not talking about the kids. Their behavior is normal."

Well said Bill. We had to do quite a bit of refereeing this past week and I began to go a little crazy. What's wrong with this kid! I was thinking. Looking back, nothing. He's a kid. Kids do crazy things. Annoying things! But, "normal" kid things. We learned some important lessons.

Lesson number 1 -
Do not stuff toys, bobby pins, legos, or tongue depressors? down the hose of the vacuum. Mommy will vacuum the whole upstairs and then turn around only to realize that everything (including dirt that wasn't there before) has shot back out. Aggghhhh!

Lesson number 2 -
Please do not lock the bathroom and shut the door without actually being IN the bathroom. We were without a downstairs bathroom for a week before we could get the right tool to get in. And, he did it again. Yesterday. Aggggghhhhhh!

Lesson number 3 -
Do not put your water bloated thumb through the hole of the wiffle ball while you are taking a bath. It will not come out.

Aggggghhhhhhh!

Lesson number 4 -
Do not stick toys inside other toys. Miss Sally, the toy car, is stuck inside of a garbage truck. Poor lady. Aggggghhhhhh!

Lesson number 5 -
Babies are so cute. They can't do any of the things previously mentioned.
