What the?
So, a crazy thing happened today. My little Andrew is only three weeks old. Three weeks. Keep that in mind. This morning, the two brothers were lying on the floor in their jammies just hangin out. Now, for anyone out there without children and as clueless as I was before I had a baby (I really really was) - babies don't really "come alive" (as I like to put it) until about 8 weeks. Then, you may start catching some smiles and hear some babbling and cooing. Well, as the two boys were lying there looking at each other, Andrew started to smile. Real smiles!!! No gas! Just happy smiles! Then, he started cooing and trying to talk with Christopher! I was shocked! I started running around the house like a mad woman searching for my camera/video camera. I found it! Yay! I ran over to the adorable scene, pushed the button, and heard BEEP BEEP. The camera was out of batteries!!!! NOOOOOOOO! What a bummer. However, I did have another camera nearby and caught this little smile exchange before Andrew shut off again :) and started crying for food. It felt kinda like that movie Awakenings (anyone know what I am talking about). Well, anyhow, it certainly made this mommy's day and I, of course, had to share.

Did this thing really just not accept my comment?! How dare my computer! I'll try it once more . . .
I am amazed at the love that exists between siblings, even when they are infants- so adorable!
I love the movie Awakenings! Remember when Adam came in our apartment while we were watching it and was like, "this movie is hilarious!" We still laugh about that, he thought we were watching Patch Adams.
Awakenings!! I think Christine introduced that movie to me...yeah...so, cute. (the story, not the movie...haha)
That is so sweet Kristin! Your kids are so cute.
One of the best things about having a second kid is seeing how much they adore your first and vice versa.
Your kids are adorable! (I love the movie awakenings by the way)
Sigh. I am so in love with these boys.
How precious of a moment!! I love the hiccup video; babes with hiccups make me laugh but I feel bad for them.
